The Senior OHA role is full time Monday to Friday, this would be a mixture of home and on-site working.
The Senior Occupational Health Advisor (Senior OHA) resides within the Occupational Health Team and is critical to the core function of the overall Occupational Health service. The Senior OHA role is required to lead a small multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of OH services of our client, including attendance management, pre-placement assessments, fitness for work medicals, vaccinations, management of contamination incidents, physiotherapy and other services as required. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, OHAs will ensure that individuals have access to or are signposted to the support that they need to encourage attendance at work, manage any associated risks and to provide managers with guidance that will support a sustainable workforce. The Senior OHA will support the delivery function, assist with delivery where needed, deal with escalation queries from the clinical team or clients and work with the Clinical Governance Manager to implement service improvements and changes to practice.
