OH Nurse Advisor

About the role

• Working Full time 37.5hr per week.

• The Occupational Health Nurse Advisor (OHNA) will contribute to improving the OH service and on-going communication with management teams; overview of workplace controls in relation to occupational health risks; as well as the co-ordination and evaluation of specific workplace health, wellbeing and occupational hygiene Programmes

• The OHNA will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, show initiative and drive, responding well to a challenging and varied role. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are essential

Your responsibilities:

• To maintain and provide a record of professional registration
• Ensure robust compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures through the delivery of OH services across the site
• Must work within an ethical framework for practice and maintain professional boundaries.
• To influence policy change in relation to Occupational Health and Safety
• To provide advice for management and employees re: policies and procedures relating to Occupational Health and Safety
• Promote workplace health and well-being
• Work with OH and the Wellbeing team to meet the milestones of the company Wellbeing strategy
• Accept, triage, monitor and review referrals for sickness absence or work related ill health or injury
• To analyse patterns and trends associated with sickness absence and feedback to management and HR particular areas of concern within the bounds of professional accountability
