Occupational Health Advisor

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to ensure the delivery of class leading service for the supply of case management, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to clients.   

This is a permanent, site-based role to work 2 days on site in Daventry.

About You: 

As a key member of the Occupational Health business, your role as Occupational Health Advisor is critical to helping our clients manage health and wellbeing solutions.  

You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management, and employee assistance programmes.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for proactive Occupational Health provision to client companies
  • Coordinate defined Occupational Health activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Prevent adverse health effects from workplace activities through specialist skills and knowledge
  • Responsible for personal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain NMC registration

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 

  • Experienced in all aspects of OH service delivery including health service delivery, case management, health surveillance and screening procedures including audoiometry, spirometry, and skin management
  • Willing to undertake personal CPD to maintain your NMC registration
  • High degree of self motivation and management
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient IT skills including MS office suite
  • Strong team player and able to lead by example

Qualifications:

  • Registered General Nurse, holding a post registration qualification in Occupational Health at Certificate Diploma or Degree level
  • Hold a current UK driving licence
